The entry fee is $30.00 per person, per tournament ($25.00 entry and $5.00 big fish pot). On two day tournaments, there will be an additional $5.00 for big fish pot for both days. |

Payback will be 60% for first place and 40% for second place, after the club retains $60.00 of the pot. The big fish pot is paid back 100%. If 15 or more boats, the payback will be 50% for first place, 30% for second place, and 20% for third. |
3
There will be an optional 6 pound plus big fish pot of $5.00 per person, per tournament. If no 6 pound fish is caught, the pot rolls over to the end of the year. If no 6 pound fish is caught by the end of the year, the club retains the money and the pot starts over the next year. In order to fish for this money, any angler must be current for the number of months the pot has been running. All anglers wishing to be in the pot, must pay prior to blastoff. |
4
Any angler fishing alone is only entitled to half of any winnings, unless he announces his intention of paying $55.00 prior to the start of the tournament. The other half of any winnings will be retained by the club. The club does not retain any of the big fish pot, and the individual does not have to pay double entry to collect the entire big fish pot. |
5
Tournament hours will be from safe light until 3:30 PM, unless otherwise determined by majority vote at the meeting prior to the tournament. |
6
No alcoholic beverages are permitted during the tournament & weigh in. |
7
| All boaters must blast off from the same launch site. Boats may not be trailered to another area of the lake. |
8
Any angler returning to the weigh-in site after the official weigh-in time loses his catch for the day. |
9
There is a five fish limit per person. The 6th fish must be culled before fishing is resumed. Any angler bringing in too many fish to the scales will lose that day's catch. |
10
The length limit will be a minimum of 12", or as defined by state regulations of the lake being fished, subject to vote at the monthly meeting. All fish will be measured on a golden rule flat board and will be strictly enforced. If a short fish is brought to the scales, you will lose the weight of that fish, plus the largest fish. |
11
There will be a 4 ounce penalty for dead fish. |
12
All live fish must be returned to the lake, unless the fish will be mounted. |
13
If you are not in the partner drawing for the tournament, you must contact the president by 9:00 on the Wednesday prior to the tournament for assignment. You will be paired with the 1st boater with a bye. After 9:00 pm on the Wednesday prior to the tournament, you should still notify the president, but it will be the anglers responsibility to find a partner. |
14
If a boater draws a bye, he has the option of finding any partner or he may fish alone. If possible, he should contact the president and advise of any changes. |
15
If the angler fishes alone, he will be allowed to keep up to the 10th fish. The 11th fish must be culled before fishing is resumed. His best 5 fish will count for points, and any other fish will be included in his weight for the money. |
16
Non-boaters shall pay a minimum of $40.00 to the boater for expenses on one day tournaments, and a minimum of $60.00 for two day tournaments. If the non-boater pre-fishes with the boater, expenses must be shared. |
17
The non-boater shall contact the boater by 9:00 pm on the Tuesday before the tournament. If the non-boater does not contact the boater by Tuesday night, the boater can find another partner, after contacting the president. |
18
In the event that three anglers must fish from the same boat, both non-boaters are still required to pay the $40/$60 for expenses to the boater. In determining which boat must fish with three, we will first ask for volunteers. If no boater volunteers, we will have a drawing. Anglers with boats too small for three (as determined by the tournament director) and anglers who have previously fished with three (in that year) will be excluded from the drawing. |
19
The non-boater has a right to fish his water
for half of the day. |
20
If possible, non-boaters will fish with the same boater no more than twice. |
21
No fishing within 50 yards of another boat, if that boat is anchored with the trolling motor raised. |
22
Each member is allowed 1 special requests
to fish with a family member, or other non-club member, subject to the
approval of the officers at the meeting. |
23
The tournament director will have the final authority on all tournament related matters. His decision will be final. |
