Club Rules & Regulations

1
This shall be a federated club until the federation is voted out by 100 percent of the members present at the year end/beginning meeting.
2
Dues shall be $50.00 per year for current members and will be paid at the year end/beginning meeting. The yearly dues will cover the BASS Federation dues.
3
Each member is responsible for maintaining an up to date membership with FLW Outdoors
4
New members must first fish in two club tournaments with a club member. If the new member still wishes to join, he must be voted in by 100 percent of the members present at the meeting. Any points earned in the two tournaments will count.
5
Members may be voted out of the club by a 2/3 vote of the members present at the meeting. Any dues paid will be returned on a pro-rated basis.
6
Officer elections will be made at the year end/beginning meeting.
7
The schedule for the upcoming year will be made at the year end meeting. When the schedule has been finalized, it is not subject to change unless the lake is unfishable at tournament time.
8
At years end, plaques will be awarded to the angler of the year and to the angler with the biggest fish of the year. The top non-boater will also receive a plaque. Only tournaments where the member fished as a non-boater will be used to determine the non-boater angler of the year. Also, plaques with tags will be awarded to the first, second, and third place anglers of each tournament.
9
The points system shall consist of 100 points for first place, 99 points for second, 98 points for third place, etc.. Anglers with no fish receive the next point total following the angler with the least weight. If there is a tie in individual weight, both anglers receive the same points, and the next point total will be skipped. Points will also be awarded for the weight of an angler's catch, with 1 point for each ounce. Bye anglers' weights do not affect the points. There will be 8 tournaments each year, and all 8 tournaments will count for each anglers point total.
10
An angler can pay the $30.00 tournament entry fee and not fish and still receive the point totals for zero fish, limited to 2 tournaments per year.
11
The Top 6 anglers will be eligible for the state federation tournament and will be chosen at the end of the year based on their individual point standings. The club will pay for any lodging expense, and will provide each angler with additional expense money, as money allows. This additional expense payment will be decided upon at the March meeting.
12
If anglers are tied in points at the end of the year, the tie breaker will be total weight (up to 8 tournaments). This will determine Top-6 slots, as well as angler of the year, etc.
13
If an angler enters the drawing as a non-boater, his points for the tournament will count as a non-boater points, even if circumstances arise that force him to use his own boat.
14
If a member leaves the club for over a year and then wants to rejoin, he must be voted back in. If he leaves for only a year or less, he can return without being voted in, provided he left the club in good standing.
15
These rules are in effect and cannot be changed until the year end/beginning meeting, except as authorized by all officers.
