Mission Statement

The purpose of the Southside Bassmaster is to bring together dedicated bass fishermen for fun, fellowship, and the exchange of ideas.

The Southside Bassmasters are accepting new members for 2009.

Boaters and non-boaters are encouraged to apply.

The Winner!

2009 Kid's Tournament

October 4, 2009 marked our 15th Annual Kid's Tournament.
Special thanks to Frank and Martha Chester for graciously allowing us to use their property for our event again this year.

Turnout this year was great, with about 2 dozen kids attending for a fun filled
day of fishing, burgers and dogs, homemade ice cream, and buggy rides, courtesy of Dean Ryan and his pal Shrek.

Congratulations to Ralph Peery, Cary Chester, Al Horton, Ryan Horton, Brandon Joyner, and Bobby Walraven for their 2nd place Team Win at the West Point Top Six Tournament

Al Horton and Cary Chester will be respresenting us on the
State Team at Lake Murray S.C. Way to go, guys!

FLW and TBF Join Forces

The Southside Bassmasters voted to remain with the Federation and join FLW in this new endeaver. We are excited about the opportunities coming our way with FLW and TBF.

Southside Bassmasters welcomes new members (Boaters & Non-Boaters). We fish 10 tournaments a year on Georgia & Alabama lakes with all 10 events counting for yearend points. Pre-Tournament meetings are held at 7 PM on the first Tuesday of each month at H and J Wings and Things in Palmetto, Georgia, unless a tournament date early in the month dictates a change in schedule.
